This blog post is about how I increased my breast milk supply and how you can too!
I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, it is the twenty-first century and it is past time that people started talking about ‘Mom Issues’ that we deal with on a daily basis.
Breast-feeding, or rather, not being able to breast-feed due to a low breast milk supply, is just another of those many issues – unfortunately this is one that hits close to home for me.

All Moms Worldwide Increase Their Milk Supply Using This Method
Let me start off my saying that fate plays a big role in my story and that if it wasn’t for one Mom that learned how to increase breast milk supply from another Mom that came from another Mom (the good old chinese whispers), I wouldn’t be here today.
And I surely wouldn’t be here, helping you to increase your breast milk supply in order to help others too! Pass on the word Moms!
If you are one of the thousands of Moms looking at how to increase milk supply, join me and thousands, if not millions of Mom’s worldwide, that have figured out how to produce more breast milk safely, quickly and most importantly, naturally.
My (Previous) Low Milk Supply Problems
I had the unfortunate experience of having to live through breast milk-issues – long story short, I wasn’t making enough milk to feed my child, and I’m not even going to go into all the trauma that it caused me and my child.
This was the first time I’d heard of a mother not producing enough milk for her child, which of course made me feel like I was an inept mother – and no amount of logical reasoning worked.
But I probably don’t have to tell you that if you’re here reading this – you too are probably dealing with the exact same issue or somewhere close to having very minimal breast milk and know exactly how inadequate it can make you feel.
Initially, I thought it was because I was flat-ish, and trust me you don’t want me to go into that can of worms, but suffice to say, I had so many misconceptions about why I wasn’t producing enough milk – most of it relating to some disastrous defect I thought I had. But once I came to terms with it, I decided it was time that I went on the lookout for some sort of a supplement – naturally I wanted to go with a herbal remedy. Initially – I was terrified of any sort of medicine having an adverse effect on my child’s only food source
My first trial in order to increase lactation was recommended by my sister-in-law, Joanne. It’s not something in particular that she tried nor had she had any success but it was a method that was written up in a magazine whilst getting her hair done at a salon. She gave it a read and passed on the details for me to try.
Joanne recommended that I try naturally occurring ‘galactagogues’. Have you heard of these? If you have? Have you tried them? If you have, don’t bother – keep reading (the personally didn’t work for me). For those of you wanting to try Fenugeek, this is the supplement I used, however as you will keep reading, I am not a massive fan of Fenugeek for increasing breast milk.
So, back to the story, at the time, I did some online research and prescribed myself Fenugreek, and Organic Oats – I already ate oats regularly for breakfast and for the odd snack, so it wasn’t much of a stretch for me. I had heard some reviews here and there about Fenugreek in particular and so gained some sort of confidence (which wasn’t long lived) when I read others thinking about using it.
What I later found out is that, although there is a few articles on the web talking about Fengreek, when I went back and later looked at the articles, Fenugreek was just a ‘suggestion’, there wasn’t actually any mothers raving about using it or had any good or substantial results using it. This is something I completely overlooked but later found out myself.
By this point, Fenugreek had done, absolutely, zilch, nothing, zero!
Unfortunately, I don’t know if it just didn’t suit me or if the entire thing was just hype – but Fenugreek, actually had the exact opposite effect on me – not only did I go around smelling like baby burps, but now I reeked of pancakes (Thanks Fenugreek. Real nice.)
That however, was obviously not the worst of it – within a few weeks, I started to realize my blood-sugar levels were all over the place, and I was lactating even less. I finally went to my doctor to talk about it, and she told me that contrary to popular opinion the symptoms I was experiencing were consistent with therapeutic Fenugreek use – what was worse, was I’d also started to feel sick again – yup, morning sickness sick.
Not only was I not lactating enough, my lactation had gone down so much my baby girl was almost entirely dependent on formula – as you can imagine, I was far from happy.
Trial #2 (Thankfully A Success)
I was actually on my way out from my doctor’s when I bumped into another new mom Hannah – Hannah is literally my savior! (See how important is it for Moms to share their experiences? Remember, chinese whispers above?!)
Anyway, this Mom I bumped into, Hannah, she is the first person to tell me about low milk supply and a supplement called, Boost Breast Milk Enchancer.
Hannah – was a new mom. BUT she was on her 3rd child and well acquainted with the whole ‘not producing enough milk scenario’
Finally, I had someone tell me to stop worrying and to go online and order this product pronto so you can get your milk back – and I don’t know, something just clicked and I did just that – it’s weird how fate works.
I ordered Boost (the official website) and started using it by that weekend to stop my milk supply decreasing any further!
For All Moms, This is All You Need
The best advice I can give you is from my own personal experience. Don’t waste your time and money on things you happen to read in a magazine or from a ‘general article’ on the internet. My experience using this product was amazabells and I can’t speak any more highly of it. Remember – we, as Moms, don’t have a lot of time (or energy) when we are trying to breastfeed so any advice that you are capable of getting, like from me, is worth absolutely everything. I’ve been in the exact same shoes as you.
You can only buy it directly from the *Official Website* here.
I mean – what else do you have to lose? There is a 100% Money Back Guarantee so if your not entirely happy for any reason whatsoever, you can return it.
We know what to expect if you don’t do anything > Do nothing = no milk supply. Right?
It’s not just me either, as I said above, there is millions of Moms worldwide using this supplement. I wish I found out earlier.
Here are some other helpful facts, I won’t reiterate what the site says as I have to go off for another feed soon so I don’t have all the time to write everything that exists on the site anyway.
It’s all pretty straightforward but here is the best things about this product which made me SAY YES!
- Clinically Proven Results – Studies show you can see results as quick as 24/72 hours (me personally, I saw actual proper results in about 3.5 days, so I started Monday and saw a massive increase in my breast milk, say Wednesday afternoon)
- 100% Safe & Effective & Approved
- Made of 100% Natural Ingredients (eg. Silybum marianum which is derived from milk thistle)
- 100% Money Back Guarantee
- Easy to take – in pill form
What You Need Exactly
In response to this blog post that I originally wrote, I have had so many Moms out there contact me on which package they should buy. So hopefully this section helps you decide 🙂
As you would be aware by going to the official website above or here, there is 3 packages available.
Think of it like this, each bottle will last you 1 month, so each bottle represents a month supply.
What did I buy and what should you buy?
What I bought and what you buy might be completely different. It all depends on how long you intend to continue breast feeding.
I intend to breast feed as long as I can, so I buy 3 bottles at a time (I get 2 bottles free also), so the cost per bottle for me comes down to $29.97 – I save $19.98 per bottle. For me, it’s a 5 month supply. I did this because even if I didn’t use it for 5 months, it was still cheaper for me.
The more bottles you buy, the lower the price per bottle becomes, which is more cost effective for you.
If you enter your details, and even if you click the 1 month supply option, you get 1 bottle free, so that’s 2 for the price of 1!
For more information and to view the packages, you can only buy it from here: Official Website
A Mom Back Breastfeeding Again 🙂 🙂
Not only is Boost a healthy, natural alternative to medicinal supplements (which I am soooo against) – it is also easy to use and poses absolutely no harm to yourself or your baby.
In hindsight, I think the reason I reacted so badly to the Fenugreek was because I just kept at it but it did all the wrong things for me.
The Boost supplement comes in pill sizes, with a perfect balanced blend of all the natural supplements you need. I took it for two weeks and not only did I overcome the defect I caused with my careless Fenugreek self prescription – I ended up producing more than enough to feed my little girl and kept a fridge stocked of pumped breast milk just incase I want to pop out for a bit and leave her with her dad!
Like I said, it’s weird how fate works and in this product, thank goodness for fate because I couldn’t cope with not producing enough breast milk for my new baby much longer.
Anyway, ladies, I gotta run now, I could literally write all day about my elaborate journey but that may just bore you, plus I don’t have a lot of time, I have to go feed now, which I would much rather do 🙂
Happy feeding everyone, onto my second last feed for the day and looking forward to a restful night sleep.
Take care xx
I know I probably haven’t included everything there is to know. What else do you want to know?
What about you? Have you tried anything to try to boost your milk supply? Has it worked? I’d love to hear from you.
